What is Breast Implant Revision?

Breast implant revision surgery is performed to correct or improve the results of a previous breast augmentation. Reasons for revision may include implant rupture, capsular contracture (hardening of the scar tissue around the implant), dissatisfaction with size, or a desire for a different type of implant.
